Sample messages for neighbour nuisance: this is how it works
You want to make clear what you are experiencing without unnecessarily escalating the interaction. CalmNotes' sample messages help you formulate your message calmly and respectfully.
Here you can read how the approach works. You will receive the full messages in the bundle for your situation.
From initial contact to a next step
-
First message: choose the short, medium, or extended version to describe your observation and request.
-
Reminder: choose a passage that fits no response, no improvement, or temporary improvement.
-
Third message: describe the current state of affairs and an appropriate next step, without assuming prior improvements or agreements.
Calm tone, clear in your question
The messages provide space to describe your own situation. You state what you notice, what effect this has, and what you would like to see changed. Replace the input fields, remove inappropriate passages, and proofread your message. You do not have to send all messages. In cases of intimidation, the messages are intended for an appropriate care provider or agency. In the event of unsafe contact, seek help first; in case of immediate danger, do not wait for a letter.
More than just a message
The standard nuisance bundles contain five editable Word messages, a user manual and selection guide, background information with a concise legal framework, and an Excel logbook with explanations and a separate fictitious completed example. You will receive seven Word files and one Excel file together in a single ZIP download. Unpack this and open the files with suitable software.
