What do I receive after purchase?
A standard situation pack contains one ZIP download with seven editable Word documents and an Excel incident diary:

The guidance includes options for no response, no improvement or a temporary improvement. Extract the ZIP file and open the Word and Excel files using suitable software. Choose only the messages that fit your situation; you do not need to send them all.
For a separate message or additional tool, check the relevant product page. These do not automatically include a full situation pack.
When will I receive my download?
After successful payment, you receive access to the digital download. Save the files so that you can use them again later. No physical product is posted.
Can I edit the messages?
Yes. Add your own names, dates and examples. Read the message before sending it and include only information that is accurate for your circumstances. You can adapt it as a text message, note, letter or email.
Who are the English materials for?
The English edition uses clear, accessible English and is adapted for UK circumstances. Rules, services and procedures differ between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Check the guidance that applies where you live.
When is CalmNotes suitable?
Most packs are for neighbour problems where direct contact feels appropriate and safe. Do not approach someone if there are threats, violence or immediate danger. The intimidation pack is intended for contacting the police, a support service or an appropriate organisation rather than confronting the person concerned. In a UK emergency, call 999.
What if the problem continues?
Your pack includes a reminder and a further follow-up. Use the diary to record events and contact. Choose the option that fits the response or lack of improvement. You do not have to send every message. Consider whether another approach is suitable or whether you need support.
Does CalmNotes guarantee a solution?
No. The templates help you communicate calmly and clearly. Whether things improve also depends on the circumstances and the other person’s response. CalmNotes cannot guarantee a resolution or prevent escalation.
